Overview
The Artist's Nook is a cute, cosy 2 double bedroom apartment up a quiet back street in the heart of St Ives. It was completely renovated in 2025 and retains touches of its original Edwardian charm. It also has its own allocated parking space right outside the front of the building. The Artist's Nook is about 5 minutes to Porthmeor Beach and the harbour area as well as being just a few minutes from Fore Street, a pretty cobbled street with lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants.
The furniture is thoughtful blend of reclaimed, upcycled and antique pieces, creating a unique, character filled space.
There are two large bedrooms, one has a king size bed and the other has a double bed.
The living space is a lovely room with sofa for two and two chairs.. . There is TV with a firestick to use your own login for access to call channels. The kitchen area is fully equipped, there is an oven with grill, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is also a utility area with a washing machine.
There is large bathroom off the utility area, with overhead powerful shower and white WC and a sink.
The apartment is dog friendly and we welcome ONE well behaved dog for no extra charge. Good quality wifi is also provided for free.
The train station is just over ten minutes walk away
IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE
The Artist's Nook may not be suited to those who are less mobile as from Fore Street and the harbour area it’s up a short but very steep hill and it’s accessed by one short flight external stairs with no lift.
The car parking space is at the front of the building, about 90 seconds walk from the entrance to the apartment, The car park space measures 220 cm x 420 cms and will fit a medium size car. If you have a large vehicle it may not fit comfortably inside the space and you may not be able to access it so please check dimensions if unsure,
Check in is from 4pm although if its ready earlier we will message you on the day and check out is 10am
Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere inside and you should not leave a dog unattended if it barks or may be destructive
